Institutions and employee groups in 1st World countries may donate items to author's promo enterprise for promo teams' 'teach-in' activities in rural areas about the mega co-op way.  Said donations may be sent to author Fermin B. Francisco, address available upon e-mail request.
The following slightly used products and equipment will be most welcome for use by rural promo teams that will conduct campaigns in towns and villages:  repairable cellphones, laptops, desktops and office printers, pamphlet printers, CD programs for leaflets and T-shirt prints (Corel Draw, etc.), CD players, flat screen TVs, lapel type and  'portable box' speakers, office supplies, public address equipment, audio visual equipment for public market, plaza and school presentations, portable karaoke sets, standee frames, portable generators for public market and town plaza campaigns, Christmas lights and 'crowd attractor' lighting sets, etc.
Promo teams that will conduct orientations in remote rural villages and upland communities that are accessible only thru rutted or muddy roads and trails will also welcome the following donations of slightly used or repairable items: mountain bikes, portable generators, flashlights, backpacks, rain gear, tents and camping gear, portable water filters, water sterilizing tablets, heavy duty water bottles, rubber boots, hiking boots, hiking shoes, sneakers and sandals, 2-wheeled trolleys, heavy duty plastic storage boxes, outdoor cooking equipment and utensils, portable ice boxes (Igloo), canned foods, etc.
Farm and household tools, utensils and bric-a-brac may also be donated to serve as 'teach-in' attendees' raffle prizes to be announced as coming from supportive 1st World patrons.  Such indicators of 1st World people's support should build up great confidence among Philippine rural folk as to the viability of the jobs-creating mega co-op systems explained to them by the promo teams.  Additionally, goodwill generated and spread out via word of mouth among adjacent and far-flung villages due to the raffle prizes will ensure warm welcome for our promo teams throughout rural Philippines.
The promo teams' long-term targets: a) recruit rural folk into the mega co-op movement and form them into support and participant groups towards creation of mega co-op corporate groups in rural areas; b) build rural masses' protective support of the mega co-op movement even among rebel and 'off-mainstream' groups (Communists, separatists, religious fanatics, bandits, 'distrusting' tribes, politicians' private armies, etc) and the major groups' sympathizers and political fronts; c) elicit comments and suggestions from rural folk and NGOs that will improve mega co-ops' business and political tactics versus feudal conditions in remote rural areas.  For instance, multiple land ownership claims, farmland titled yet idled for speculation, contract cropping potentials for tribal territories, political clans' land-grabbing of bottom poor micro-farms, landlords' private armies supported by corrupt military officers, rural 'triple taxation' by lords, rebels, bandits and corrupt military units,  huge 'protection fees' demanded by corrupt military officers from entrepreneurs, slash and burn upland farming, illegal logging, conflicts on water sources, bottom poor farmlands 'grabbed' by mining companies, and the need for gradual dismantling of feudal arrangements are major issues; d) in due time help enable mega co-ops to create regular (salaried) work-study jobs for Elementary level bottom poor who mostly reside in rural areas; e) recruit voters towards setup of a corruption-proof 60,000-strong Internet Congress of the country's top retired corporate and sectoral skills thru People's Initiative law or constitutional change procedures.
Described non-cash donations for the rural promo campaigns may be collected by friendship groups local or abroad and sent via land or sea freight on door to door basis thru the following cargo handling companies accessible thru their internet websites: 1) International Parcel Services; 2) NEX Worldwide Express; 3) Global Carrier Philippines; 4) My US.com; 5) ISI Logistics; 6) INTL Movers; 7) My Shopping Box; 8) Shipping Cart; 11) Royal Cargo; 12) Pinoybox Delivery.com; 13) Barrington Freight (UK); 14) Manson Freight Services (UK); 15) Other sea freight companies with internet websites.  Freight delivery address in name of author FERMIN B. Imperative 10: Mega co-op corporate groups should fast-track climate change action!

Japan pioneered corporate group formation in East Asia in 1860s to early 1900s.  To build a prosperous economy, the 1860s Japanese government imported entire steel mills, parts-making factories, defense works and other industries from USA, UK, and Germany.  Imports included engineering trainers.  Once profitable, the government sold the industries to local elites at low prices and long-term installment.  Since elite families were few, they cornered the deals, in the process creating corporate groups (zaibatsu) that numbered scores of companies per family.  The zaibatsu soon captured large chunks of the Korean, Chinese and other Pacific Rim markets, in the process lifting the Japanese masses' living standards to a great degree.      Japanese industries' need for raw materials however led to the Japanese armed forces' conquest of Pacific Rim nations from 1942 to '45.  Japan was roundly defeated and occupied by US forces in 1945, ...

Imperative 50: Ocean phytoplankton fertilization versus global warming, Part 3 of 3

Fertilizing the world's oceanic waters  will require planet-scale action by no less than all humanity's skilled sectors: employee masses, governments, public and private corporations, fisheries industries, international Funds, mega co-op corporate groups, climate change organizations and other institutions.  How?  Here are tactics which should prove feasible because they are based on the profit motive, which largely runs the world:     1) Climate change advocates worldwide who work in corporations, governments and other organizations have to campaign for formulation and world-scale adoption of ocean fertilization tactics such as presented in this blog.  The hard-sell: a) corporations and mega co-ops will gain enormous profits by engaging in 'intrapreneurship' based on coastal and 'blue sea' aquaculture lines (floating and submerged cages, artificial reefs, floating fish shelters or 'aggregating devices', traps, etc.) that require inexpensiv...

Imperative 34: 13th vision: Filipino expatriate groups' clean and green 'sideline' businesses

Over $25 billion repatriated by expatriate Filipinos each year the past decades indicates one thing: they will never tire of trying to help folks back home.  The amount however appears to be a small percentage of total Filipino expats' and migrants' incomes, indicating a huge capital potential for mega co-ops if such overseas Filipinos get persuaded to  buy mega co-op shares thru relatives or thru mega co-op websites.  Mega co-ops have to find ways by which overseas investors may directly buy capital shares instead of passing thru brokers.  Overseas Filipinos may also capitalize small businesses that engage in production contracting or supply of materials to mega co-ops as a way of providing income for loved ones back home.  Capable and trusted relatives may manage the businesses to acquire specialist skills for further expansion of operations once the expat financier retires and returns to the Philippines with a big 'nest egg'.  The speciali...
